Cover's One Year Session. Baby Bee Session by Debby Ditta Photography of Tomball TX

 We are wrapping up a complete Baby Bee Package for baby Cover. I met his parents as a couple... a family of two and in a couple of months, they will be a family of FOUR! You'll just have to stay paying attention to see if the new baby is a boy or a girl. I'm not saying a word. 

I typically will make comparison collages for clients that hire me for both newborn and one year sessions and I was feeling especially sentimental today and made several. So much happens in just 365 days as a baby... they are completely different people. They grow three times their body weight and look at all those curls!!!

Before the session started, Cover was "helping" me set up the studio lighting. He told me he wants to be a studio photographer when he grows up.

His Dad made the little wooden pieces of trees and mountains that are displayed in his nursery. We used them at the newborn session and again at the one year session. This recent time he was like a giant yeti destroying the mountain town. At the newborn session he was a gentle baby bear.

Cover had a prehistoric jungle dinosaur themed birthday party.  He's one now, so keeping him still and staying in one spot was a challenge. The cake helped to keep him focused. He's standing, crawling, AND walking these days. 

Cover (just like every other baby I photograph in the studio) LOVES the panel of curtains. He played in them as he swished them around. 

Those curls.. oh my gosh.

Tiffany is expecting her newest baby in about 8 weeks so Cover's session turned into a one year / maternity session. I will love photographing this cherub baby boy with his new brother or sister. It actually may be a challenge with two babies.. a newborn and a one year old. I may be editing some composites with the session.
